RACManager

RACManager has certainly been a welcome relief from the spreadsheet recording system, medical record paper printing and the physical work of hauling many pounds of account submissions to the post office that AHS hospitals experienced from the RAC demonstration project in Florida. The processes are easy to follow for Users at all levels.  Medical record requests are quickly entered into the system and it is very easy to attach the individual records as PDF files for processing.  Requesting the medical record request to be processed and sent  by RACManager overnight on CD is as simple and fast as pushing a couple of buttons.  Missing a deadline unknowingly is impossible as RACManager warns that timed tasks should be completed to avoid costly penalties.

The comprehensive reports and graphs that can be run from any piece of data in the system are impressive for the CFOs and financial personnel throughout the AHS system and are allowing us a detailed view of any and all RAC activity at any point of the process.  The reports are available for viewing in multiple forms including Excel, Word, Adobe PDF and CSV.  RACManager also automatically processes daily remittances for all of our hospitals to pull RAC accounts into the system which saves countless man hours from manually scouring for those hard-to-find accounts.

RACManager staff is readily available and most helpful when questions arise.  Having this product has helped our team focus on the clinical aspects of preventing RAC take backs instead of spending precious man-hours attempting to maintain the usual spreadsheet style of account management.  Users at all levels are expressing their positive experience with this product.  I cannot imagine tackling this RAC project without RACManager and am 100% satisfied with all aspects of this marvelous system.

I am very thankful we chose RACManager as our RAC tracking software for its ease of use and the automatic monitoring of our electronic remittances is invaluable.  Although there is a learning curve involved, as a user, you begin to really trust and depend upon the software.  Also, the knowledge base of those working at LMRPManager, which includes experience from the RAC Demonstration Project, is very helpful for providers who are new to the RAC process. In so many ways it is like having your own personal tour guide in navigating this new process. 

As for the customer service, LMRPManager is great. They are prompt, effective, and seems to really understand what we as providers are experiencing. Everyone I have come into contact with at LMRPManager has been a joy to work with and I would highly recommend them and the RACManager product to anyone.
